Released in November 2018, the OnePlus 6T starting price at launch was $549, ₹37,999, €549. It is available on every Amazon online shopping store and the official OnePlus website.
OnePlus is offering its latest flagship through a U.S. carrier, T-Mobile, which will introduce the company’s phones to a wider audience. It is available in 3 color variants – Midnight Black, Mirror Black, and Purple. The OnePlus 6T 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant is priced at ₹37,999, the 8/128 variant for ₹41,999, and the high-end 8/256 for ₹45,999.
Design & Display:
OnePlus 6T has a 6.41-inch AMOLED Screen with a 19.6:9 aspect ratio. It is a gorgeous display with a tiny teardrop notch at the top. It has a bigger screen than the OnePlus 6. There is no upgrade in the display as this phone has also only a Full HD display. It is a 2340 x 1080p display with 402ppi pixel density.
Even though it is only a ”Full HD” display, there is no compromise in picture quality and details. The display looks gorgeous and immersive. It will surely satisfy media lovers, mobile photographers, and gamers.
There is an in-display fingerprint sensor which is a key feature of the OnePlus 6T. It unlocks the phone in 0.36 seconds. It is not faster than previous OnePlus fingerprint sensors which are on the backside but still, it is good enough for flagship phones.
Of course, you can use face-unlock which is a superfast and super-easy way to unlock your OnePlus 6T. It is an accurate face-unlock system with security.
The design of the phone is stunning and gives a premium feel. The company uses Gorilla Glass 6 protection on the front side and a 3D glass back on the phone which looks great.

The back panel of the phone has a camera setup. There is no fingerprint sensor this time as it is moved under the display.
On the right side, there is a power button, and above it – the OnePlus Signature Slider. You can use double tapping on the screen or a power button to wake up the phone. A signature slider can be used to Mute your phone quickly.
On the left side, there is a Volume Rocker, and at the Bottom – a USB Type C port and two grills on each side having a loudspeaker and microphone. There is no headphone jack in the OnePlus 6T. OnePlus gives you bundling a USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter in the box. Also, OnePlus Bullets headphones are now available with USB Type-C connectivity in the store.
OnePlus 6T Camera:
OnePlus 6T comes with Rear 16MP + 20MP Sony sensors with f/1.7 aperture. It is a similar camera to the OnePlus 6 model. The shooting modes have phase detection autofocus, automatic, portrait, manual, and panorama features.
OnePlus 6T gives easy access to Google Lens, flash, self-timer, and aspect ratio control from the camera viewfinder. The camera app of the phone is simple to use and easy to operate.
The photos taken by the OnePlus 6T are outstanding compared to the phone’s price. It gives excellent shots with plenty of details. It also produces an excellent amount of colors and tones. The auto HDR feature in the OnePlus 6T gives great images which can be sometimes comparable to the Google Pixel 3 smartphone.
There are some new features like Nightscape Mode. Nightscape mode is preset of how we usually tune our cameras in the pro mode for low-light photography. It lowers the ISO and the shutter speed to get more light and sensor, and the AI combines multiple pictures to get a crisp low-light picture without a tripod. This Nightscape mode didn’t do better than the Pixel 3 Xl or Huawei P20 Pro smartphone’s low-light photography.
OnePlus 6T has a 16MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Selfies taken by it look good and give enough details. You can use screen flash in low lights to take selfies.
It has 4K video capturing capabilities. There is also a slow motion feature. Video stabilization in OnePlus 6T is impressive, 4K samples look great and the focus is very responsive and it gets great macro details.
OnePlus 6T Performance:
With OnePlus 6T, you get Android 9 Pie with OxygenOS out of the box. It comes with Stock Android and there is no bloatware preloaded. The overall interface is clean to use. There is a gesture section in the settings menu. By using it, you can assign off-screen actions dedicated to a particular task. For example, you can lock the phone by double-tapping anywhere on the home screen, or tap the screen with 3 fingers at the same time to take a screenshot.
OnePlus 6T also offers the Parallel Apps feature, which enables you to clone certain apps. You can log in to two different accounts using Parallel Apps. The supported apps include WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Skype, and Snapchat.
The phone has a loud and clear downward-directional speaker. The display of the OnePlus 6T is also bright enough. You can enjoy gaming and watching movies on it.
