GeForce RTX 2060 Starting at $349 and will be available from 15 January 2019
Nvidia introduces its mid-range graphics card. The all-new Nvidia GeForce 2060 graphics card will cost you only $349 (about £270, AU$490). It is not expensive like RTX 2080 or RTX 2080 Ti. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang introduced to the new GeForce RTX 2060, the company’s latest GPU and one capable of ray-tracing and AI Features. RTX 2060 will be available on January 15. It will also be available in Alienware, Acer, HP and others. GeForce RTX 2060 has remarkable features like 1,920 CUDA cores, 240 tensor cores with 52 teraflops of deep learning, 6GB of the newest GDDR6 memory running at 14 Gbps, a GPU boost clock of 1.68 GHz and 30 RT Cores that can cast 5 giga-rays of real-time ray tracing performance.
The team Green showed off how RTX 2060 is capable of Battlefield V at Ultra settings and RTX On at well above 60 fps, while DLSS also being enabled. It showed off a demo of Battlefield V playing with RTX 2060 at 1440p. Huang said that performance on games is “dramatically higher” than the GTX 1060, performing up to twice as well on Wolfenstein II and outpacing on other popular titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Nvidia also announced a new pair of game bundles for users interested in buying GeForce RTX 2060 or RTX 2070 graphics cards. These users will be able to redeem a code to receive a digital copy of either Anthem or Battlefield V games. Meanwhile, those who purchase an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 will get digital codes for both titles with their purchase.

Huang also said that this is not only about desktops. Now, RTX is also coming to laptops. 40 machines will launch on January 29th, with 17 using Max-Q designs. Those Max-Q cards include the RTX 2070 Max-Q and 2080 Max-Q. “We optimize every single game for laptop use,” Huang said.
As we can see, Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 2060 is faster than GTX 1070 Ti. It is also 60 percent more powerful than GTX 1060.
