Honor 10 Lite is an upcoming affordable mobile phone in the low-price range category. This new phone is available for people who want to buy Honor 10, but can not afford it. The Honor 10 Lite is expected to launch on 13 February 2019. It will cost around £180 / $200 / ₹14,390 / AU$280 / AED 799 when it comes to the UK, USA, India, and other territories.

Honor 10 Lite Design:

The design of Honor 10 Lite is similar to its other expensive handsets from the brand. On the backside body, there is an ‘aurora’ effect finishing. The effect is nothing but a gradient of shining colors that shimmers in the light. There are two cameras on the rear side. They are slightly raised away from the body. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the rear side.

The smartphone feels like a premium phone in hand. The curved edges sit nicely in the palm. But the weight of the phone is less, which makes it feel like a cheap plastic phone.

Display:

Honor 10 Lite has a 6.21-inch Full HD display. The company decided to not put the QHD display here. It is in 19:9 format, 1080 x 2340 pixels long display. It is an LCD screen that offers 415-pixel density. This LCD screen is not as great as OLED or Retina displays, but for the price, it is a good screen.

There is a small teardrop notch at the top. You can also extend the screen further to the edges. This feature may attract a few users. Front camera houses in that teardrop space.

Honor 10 Lite Camera:

For the price of the phone, you get the impressive 13MP+2MP Dual rear camera on the Honor 10 Lite. It gives good details in darker conditions too. In darker conditions, the phone camera brings more exposure which captures a good amount of details in the photo.

The phone uses an AI which adds more processing to photos. The phone has a 24MP front camera with plenty of AI features. It gives some filtered effect photos for selfies which does not look natural. It is combined with a 4-in-1 light fusion technology and exposure compensation technology. But still, it does not give impressive natural pics.

Battery:

Honor 10 Lite comes with a 3,400 mAh battery. It gives good battery backup on regular usage of the phone and the battery lasts a day.

The Kirin 710 chipset is also a reason for good battery backup. It is a more efficient chipset for mid-range phones.

Performance:

Honor 10 Lite comes with Kirin 710 chipset, either 4GB or 6GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage space. It has Android 9 Pie OS with the latest version of EMUI 9 features.

There is a phone optimizer that helps to clean junk and tasks to improve performance. It also gives notifications when the phone is consuming more RAM or Power on a particular app. You can also enjoy normal gaming on Honor 10 Lite. The overall performance of the phone is not like any other premium flagship. But for the price, it is an ‘ok’ phone for daily use.
