SpaceX Crew-5 is planned to be the 5th crewed operational NASA Commercial Crew flight of a Crew Dragon spacecraft, and the 8th overall crewed orbital flight.
Crew-5 will launch atop a Falcon 9 rocket from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Oct. 3 at 12:45 p.m. EDT (1645 GMT).
4 astronauts will be sent to the ISS aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule: Nicole Mann and Josh Cassada from NASA, Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata, Cosmonaut Anna Kikina.
Cosmonaut Anna Kikina will become the first Russian to fly on a private American spacecraft. She is Russia's only active female cosmonaut.
