UBC analysts plan for return of humans to the moon with the Artemis program National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

Led by NASA, The Artemis program is a human & robotic Moon exploration program. If this mission gets successful, the Artemis program will restore a human presence on the Moon.

The most recent time humans have set foot on the moon is at time of Apollo 17 (December 7–19, 1972) mission, the last mission of NASA's Apollo program.

America was unable to successfully sustain beyond low-Earth orbit (LEO) human spaceflight program since the termination of NASA’s Apollo program.

Artemis is named after an ancient lunar goddess, the twin sister of Apollo.

There are different countries participating in Artemis program. This makes a key difference between the Space Station’s success and the failure of past NASA lunar programs.

Because of International participation in Artemis program, There are additional resources as well as vital sustainability for the Moon mission.

A diverse group of astronauts from America & the Accords family of nations will set foot on the moon if this mission gets successful.

The mission will have the spacecraft orbit around the moon and test the conditions for a future manned mission.

With Artemis-1′ we will land the first woman and first person of color on the Moon. It will be launching from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Monday.
