Thinking about the consequences in the future, the US Air Force and Military have warned Alien hunters against storming Area 51. Air Force spokeswoman Laura McAndrews said government officials knew about the event.

“Area 51 is an open training range for the U.S. Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces. The U.S. Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets.”

Many celebrities are talking about it and recently Elon Musk tweeted a meme about the Area 51 event.

Where and What is Area 51?

Area 51, Amargosa Valley, Nevada, 20908 is a highly classified United States Air Force facility and Military Base located within the Nevada Test and Training Range. It is about 80 miles northwest of Las Vegas, Nevada.

2.9 million acres of land and 5,000 square miles of airspace are restricted from civilian air traffic in this area. It is the largest contiguous air and ground space available for peacetime military operations in the free world.

This place has been a hub of speculation and conspiracy theorists since 1989. Bob Lazar, an American conspiracy theorist, and self-proclaimed physicist claimed in an interview that he took apart a UFO and read government documents about aliens involved in life on Earth as a physicist working in Area 51.

Born on 26 January 1959, Bob Lazer claimed to have worked on reverse engineering purported extraterrestrial technology at a site called S-4 located several kilometers south of the Area 51 Groom Lake operating location.

There was no evidence for his claims but it convinced people that the US government was hiding something like an alien life or related activities from common people.

Some conspiracy theorists think that the US government has information about alien life and UFOs that they are withholding from the general population.

Conspiracy theorists believe that the U.S. government has kept UFOs and extraterrestrial life at the location, which is actually an Air Force training range. Many people believe the Area 51 top-secret base holds captured aliens, their technology, and crashed UFOs (unidentified flying objects).

Area 51’s Influence on Popular Culture

The stories or rumors (?) about aliens in this area increased every day. Some people started to spread things like they saw UFOs entering Area 51. There are no solid proofs about aliens till today, but positively, these stories became blessings for tourism in surrounding Lincoln County. Today, many hotels, restaurants, and shops in this territory sell Alien-theme merchandise showing their ‘alien heritage’.

According to the military, they are just protecting the secrets of Air Force operations. Tourists/People can go up to the gate or fence of the Nevada Test and Training Range. Trespassing can be punished with fines and jail. Even they have the right to shoot you!

There are so many movies and documentaries that are made related to Area 51 and Alien Life. Paul, Independence Day, The X-Files, and Area 51 are some famous movies. The latest Netflix series Stranger Things also shows a similar theme, the only difference is they used evil and paranormal activities instead of aliens!

Storm Area 51 Event

It’s clear that the event was a joke or meme at the beginning. But looks like people took it seriously. The reason is also common as everyone really wants to know about the Area 51 operations.

The event will happen on Friday, 20 September 2019 from 03:00-06:00 Pacific Daylight Time according to the event description on Facebook. Admins of the event page have also added that all will meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If everyone Naruto runs (Inspired by how the Japanese anime character Naruto Uzumaki runs with his arms behind him), we can move faster than their bullets. Let us see them, aliens!

This was a joke until many people liked the actual idea of raiding Area 51 and it went viral. The internet can be so powerful!

According to the latest reports, Connie West, the owner of Little A’Le’Inn Hotel near Area 51 said that their hotel is completely booked for 20th September. More than 90 people have paid to camp in the nearby area.

Business Mind!

The admins of the event page have also launched the Official “Storm Area 51” Website. There is the official merchandise of the event which includes T-shirts, mugs, etc for $25. Now just assume if 2000 people buy this merchandise out of a million people, 25 x 2000 = $50000! Great profits!!

USA Air Force Warning!

The viral event got the attention of the USA Air Force and they gave warning to the people. “Area 51 is an open training range for the US Air Force, and we would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces. The US Air Force always stands ready to protect America and its assets,” said Laura McAndrews, Air Force Spokesperson.

That local law enforcement will work to dissuade anyone from going near Area 51 on the day of the event and will be prepared to use tear gas and pepper spray to stop the people.

Project Blue Book

Project Blue Book was the name of the Air Force investigation. The force did an investigation of UFOs under Project Blue Book from 1947 to 1969. Project Blue Book was headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. It was not in the Nevada region.

Later Air Force closed the project saying that none of the UFOs investigated were a threat to U.S. national security and there was no evidence indicating that sightings categorized as ‘unidentified’ were extraterrestrial vehicles. The project’s findings are available in the National Archives for public review.

Latest UFO Reports

In 2019, the US Navy updated its guidelines for how its pilots report the sighting of “unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft” due to an increase in the number of reports in recent years.

Joseph Gradisher, the spokesperson for Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare, told ABC News in May that there have been several reports of unauthorized and/or unidentified aircraft entering various military-controlled ranges and designated air space in recent years.

For safety and security concerns, the Navy and U.S. Air Force take these reports very seriously and investigate each and every report. As part of this effort, the Navy has updated and formalized the process by which reports of any such suspected incursions can be made to the cognizant authorities.

Joseph Gradisher added that senior Naval intelligence officials and aviators “who reported hazards to aviation safety” have briefed congressional members and staff in response to requests for information.

Pilots in the U.S. Navy experienced a number of harrowing encounters with UFOs during training missions in the U.S. between 2014 and 2015. While pilots were in mid-flight, their aircraft cameras and radar detected seemingly impossible objects flying at hypersonic speeds at altitudes up to 30,00 feet (9,144 meters); these mysterious UFOs did so with no visible means of propulsion, The New York Times reported on May 26.

How to reach Area 51?

From the Visitors Center to Area 51, you have two ill-considered routes to choose from. Once you depart from the Visitor’s Center it’s an hour and 52-minute drive north to Area 51, and there are two routes to choose from, the first via Cane Spring Road, or I-95, and then the Mercury Highway.

Both merge at “Sugar Bunker,” which is presumably the government stores the alien food pellets, then proceed north through what looks like a moonscape of gigantic craters. These are the remnants of U.S. nuclear weapons tests and are closed to the public for a very good reason – and not because neither AT&T nor Verizon report cell phone coverage there.

What could go wrong? Everything!

No one knows how many of the 2 million Facebook attendees would actually travel to Area 51 in Nevada for the event. Area 51 is a military training area that is dangerous. Air Force practices the attack strategies, weapons, and firing in this area. Going to this area is like suicide. There could be unblasted nuclear weapons, bombs, and radiation that can kill people.

There are still so many days before the planned raid. West can most likely expect some of the reservations in hotels to be canceled by overeager netizens caught in the hype of the moment.

Despite the meme, the Air Force can expect some small group of people to “Storm Area 51”. But if this small group of alien hunters committed to breaking into the site, then they have to face so many troubles. All raiders have to survive the desert, avoid the killer rattlesnakes, barbed wires, and fences, then get past the camo dudes, security guards, and forces.

If it actually turns into a bigger event in thousands of people, we may be waking up to a very different universe come September 20th! For now, it’s one of the most viral events on the Internet!!!
