Now you can order takeout foods directly from Google search results. Google has integrated with food delivery services like Doordash, Postmates, and Delivery.com. This integration enables to order food delivery directly from Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Assistant.

Previously you had to check the app, visit the website, or make a call to order the food from food delivery restaurants. Google has removed all this process and simplified it. Now you only need a Google account to order food directly from Google Search, Google Maps, and Google Assistant.

When you look for a particular restaurant or a certain type of food in Search or Maps, you’ll see a new ‘Order now’ button next to participating food outlets. You can just click it, select the menu, and confirm your order directly.

Apple iOS and Android users can place an order via Google Assistant voice search by saying “Hey Google, Order Food from _ (name of your favorite take-out restaurant)”. Then you have to click and place an order. You can also go hands-free later if you have a favorite dish that you had ordered previously. The re-ordering of the food can be entirely voice-controlled.

Payment Method:

This integration supports simple and quick Google Pay as a payment method. You can also use Credit Card as a payment method. Currently, Google has integrated with DoorDash, Postmates, Delivery.com, Slice, ChowNow, Zuppler food delivery services. They will add more food restaurants in the future.

Currently, you can use this service in some cities of the United States of America starting Thursday, May 23. Google will add more countries worldwide in the future. We are sure, that Google and Amazon will add this service to Google Speakers and Alexa devices in the future.
